Laser vessel closure removal.
The modern Xlase Plus platform enables effective removal of such defects as dilated capillaries on the face, legs or hemangiomas. With the Nd:Yag head, we achieve spectacular effects of the therapies.
Effects:
Closing dilated capillaries on the face,
Closing dilated blood vessels on the legs,
Removal of hemangiomas.
Indications:
Dilated capillaries on the face,
Dilated blood vessels on the legs (telangiectasias),
Ruby angiomas, flat hemangiomas.
About the treatment
The Nd: Yag 1064nm laser is part of the modern Xlase Plus platform. Treatments performed with this head give excellent results in the treatment of dilated capillaries on the face and legs, this applies to both superficial and deep vessels. The laser is also perfect for removing hemangiomas. The clinical effects of the treatments are spectacular.
The laser energy is evenly delivered to the vessel, avoiding overheating of the skin or discomfort. Thanks to advanced technology, it is possible to use high energies, which translate into the effectiveness of treatments without the risk of undesirable side effects. During the procedure, the blood vessel is heated in a controlled manner, blood coagulates inside the vessel and the vessel walls are collapse and seal.
As a result, after a few days, resorption occurs, i.e. the damaged capillary is absorbed by the body and expelled by physiological processes.
For whom?
Laser vessel closure is a procedure recommended for people who want to get rid of unsightly dilated blood vessels located on the face, spider veins (telangiectasia), legs and hemangiomas.
The laser head has interchangeable tips that are adjusted depending on the vessel, a different tip is recommended for superficial and thin vessels and another for deep, large vessels. The procedures are dedicated to the removal of class I vascular lesions (red lesions) and class III lesions (deeper lesions with a blue shade up to 4 mm in diameter).
How the laser treatment vein reduction by Nd:Yag does look like?
The person performing the procedure sets the appropriate parameters, then protects the Patient’s eyes with special glasses and starts the treatment on the indicated area. The head emits a red spot of light that guides the head tip to specific vessels that require closure, which significantly increases the precision of the procedure and translates into their effectiveness.
The sensation of a laser is often described as similar to a rubber band pinging against your skin. The laser pulses feel like delicate “needles”. The procedure does not require a local anesthetic cream.
Recommended number of treatments
The number of recommended treatments is an individual matter, depending, among others, on the type of vessel, its location, depth at which it occurs and diameter. In order to remove small blood vessels, one treatment is usually enough, there are also cases where a series of 3 – 4 treatments should be performed. Treatments should be performed at intervals of 4 – 6 weeks.
Time of the treatment
Depending on the area in which it is performed, the procedure lasts from 15 minutes in a small area (e.g. blood vessels by the wings of the nose) to 45 minutes. over a larger area (e.g. blood vessels on the legs).
Recovery period
Immediately after the treatment, the skin may experience slight redness or swelling, which usually disappears after a few hours. After the treatment, you can return to your daily activities. The treatment does not require a recovery period.
