Eyebrows Lamination

What is Eyebrow Lamination?

What is Eyebrow Lamination?

Eyebrow lamination is an innovative beauty treatment that has continued to grow in popularity, recreating the trending look of thick, bushy brows. Brow lamination is great for everyone who loves a ‘brushed-up’ look but can’t seem to tame their brow hair due to it being too straight or fine.

The treatment involves changing the shape and direction of hair growth as a result of the action of thioglycolic acid.

During the treatment, the cuticle of the hair is opened.

In addition, the products used during the treatment have an occlusive effect, filling the binder between the cuticles, improving the condition and elasticity of your hair, whilst it restores proper lubrication and gives your hair some shine.

The treatment can also be complemented by eyebrow henna with regulation.

We recommend lamination of eyebrows to everyone who has a problem with unruly, badly arranged eyebrow hairs.

The treatment is also recommended for both ladies and gentlemen.

Eyebrow lamination is not only a cosmetic procedure – it can also be classified as a medical treatment. During lamination, the hair is saturated with keratin, thanks to which they become thicker, denser and shinier.

As a result, the eyebrows are arranged very well and emphasize the facial features beautifully.

What are the benefits of Eyebrow Lamination?

What are the benefits of Eyebrow Lamination?

Eyebrow lamination is an excellent method to treat and address a variety of concerns you may have with your own brows, including:

  • Thinning hair that may occur with age
  • Gaps in your brows from overplucking or over waxing in the past
  • Unruly hairs that tend to go different directions despite brushing them
  • Lack of shape or unevenness

Eyebrow lamination normally makes your brows look thicker and fuller. Pushing the hairs up vertically may also make it look like you are experiencing new growth. It is also a completely non-invasive process.

How long does Eyebrow Lamination last?

How long does Eyebrow Lamination last?

Eyebrow lamination normally lasts from four to six weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to eight weeks. I recommend that, after the four to six-week period, you get your brows re-laminated in order to maintain the look over a longer period of time.

Why is Aftercare Important?

Why is Aftercare Important?

So, you have just had an amazing brow lamination treatment and you are feeling on top of your game having had your natural beauty enhanced.

What next? It is EXTREMELY important for you to now look after your brows to ensure they stay as fabulous for as long as possible.

This treatment involves a chemical process which has been explained in previous blog posts. Although our formulas are safe to use on the hairs, you need to ensure you keep your hairs healthy and hydrated post treatment to ensure they do not become brittle and damaged. It is the same as having a treatment done at the hairdressers, you must then use aftercare products to look after your hair post treatment. Following the correct home aftercare after your brow lamination treatment is essential for optimum hair health and will prolong the length of your treatment.

Brow Lamination Aftercare?

The first 24 hours after your treatment are critical and you MUST follow the steps below to ensure your lift does not drop and to ensure longevity of the treatment. At this early stage, your lashes are still delicate, and the lift is working its magic which means you need to be as careful as possible.

  • For the first 24 hours, keep your brows totally dry. This might be the most essential thing you do following the lamination treatment.  During the process, I applied a specialized lamination solution to your brows to give them the desired look. If you get your brows wet after the procedure, they won’t have time to set and the style won’t stay as long.
  • Avoid rubbing or excessive touching of the brows.
  • Avoid swimming, bathing, or strenuous exercise. You don’t want any moisture or oil around your brows the first day after the procedure.
  • Sleep on your back to avoid pressing on your brows during the night.

You should also apply a conditioner daily that is recommended by your therapist.
